GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Belleville officials passed new ordinances to ban masks and backpacks larger than 9 by 12 inches at festivals to help curb unruly teen gatherings. Police said events will now end by 8 p.m.—officers in neon vests will patrol and parents of arrested teens could also face charges. KSDK
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Althoff Catholic High School boys soccer team is returning most of its key players plus captains to defend their state title with a strong 7-2-1 record so far.
