Boeing and the union met on Monday but made no progress on a new contract for workers at regional defense facilities.

The union said the ball is in Boeing's court and expects more talks this week—negotiations continue.

67-year-old Clyde Thibodeaux pleaded guilty to three counts of predatory sexual assault and was sentenced to 180 years in prison for assaulting 11 children over 50 years in Randolph and St. Clair counties and Louisiana—he admitted the crimes during questioning at his Tilden home.

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Department honored three fallen members—John E.
