Lewis and Clark Community College Foundation awarded nearly $720,000 in scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year to 212 students from Godfrey and nearby areas.
The awards, which include grants covering tuition & fees, came from a competitive pool of more than 550 applicants.

Illinois families & educators may claim state tax credits for school expenses when filing state returns if receipts for tuition, book rentals, and lab fees are kept; tax preparers warn the nonrefundable credit may be lowered if the tax owed is less than the credit.
