- ➤ Lane closures will reduce travel lanes on I-64 starting tomorrow between Illinois 159 and one mile east of West Highway 50 in St. Clair County as part of a multi-phase improvement project that includes resurfacing and bridge repairs. - ➤ More than a dozen firefighters resigned from the Church Road Fire Department on Thursday after their chief was fired — leaving Metro East residents unsure which team will respond to emergencies.
