- ➤ Illinois State Police led the probe after two men kayaking found a body at Frank Holton State Park in St. Clair County on Friday morning—officials are still working to determine the cause of death. First Alert 4
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Chad Ingram, a legally blind man from Alton, broke the Guinness World Record by crocheting a 41 ft square granny square at Glazebrook Park on June 28 after spending 900 hours over eight months using more than 60 miles of yarn for stroke therapy. He is applying to Guinness for official recognition and may donate the square for display—his effort was inspired by childhood dreams of the record book. KSDK
