🏛️ Government
Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker must sign two new bills that change how the state handles chronic wasting disease—one bill would stop sharpshooting in areas with no cases for over three years and the other lowers the land needed for a deer permit from 40 to 20 acres.
Both bills passed in the House and Senate—and now await his signature after CWD was found in 21 counties.
