A benefit event for Wade Gibson—a local hair stylist facing pancreatic cancer—will be held on May 17 at The Pavilion in Kampsville to raise funds for his care.

Friends, family and local businesses plan music, food, raffles and auctions to support Wade’s medical expenses.

William is a bright nine-year-old in foster care who loves playing games and enjoys outdoor activities like hide and seek and tag.

His foster parents say he would thrive with a loving, structured family—one that supports his wish to attend Camp Wonderland.
