- ➤ Lorde, known for her hit "Royals," will perform at Chaifetz Arena on Oct. 9 — with The Japanese House and Empress Of supporting her — as tickets go on sale next Friday at 10 a.m., with presale starting May 14. KSDK

- ➤ The Play It Again Sports Boys Roundup covered games played on May 5 and May 6, with Edwardsville’s 10—3 win over Belleville West and Nashville’s 9—3 win over Highland as key baseball matchups. The roundup also highlighted wins in volleyball, lacrosse and tennis as players posted strong stats in competitions held across the region. Riverbender
- ➤ Father McGivney Catholic beat host Belleville Althoff Catholic to win the Gateway Metro Conference boys track championship meet on Wednesday at Althoff’s facility.
