Antonio Johnson Jr., an NFL safety for the Jaguars and an East St. Louis High School graduate, donated to 100 Black Men of Metropolitan St. Louis today to fund scholarships for local students at the Thrive and Bloom Seeds of Excellence event held at the Crown Room off Clark Avenue.

On Thursday, the Cardinals completed a four-game sweep by beating the Pirates 10 to 5 at PNC Park after breaking a 36-inning scoreless streak.
