- ➤ Three individuals from Belleville and East St. Louis were charged with a Class 4 felony of mob action on April 11 after they allegedly attacked a victim on March 27 — all remain out on pretrial release and are presumed innocent. Riverbender
- ➤ An event held on Saturday in East St. Louis by Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice informed families how the Illinois Crime Victims Compensation Fund—offering up to $45,000 for counseling, burial and cleanup costs—supported those affected by violent crimes. First Alert 4
