An EF1 tornado touched down in rural southeastern St. Clair County just after 5 a.m. Wednesday, damaging homes, a barn and other buildings while knocking out power and prompting crews to begin cleanup and restore service.

Justitia's Coffeehouse at 18 East Main Street announced Tuesday it has closed after five years in business — the 3,200 sqft property is now on sale for $299,000.

An EF-1 tornado passed through Moro during overnight storms, and National Weather Service crews are now surveying St. Clair County for damage.

The full tornado path is still under review.
