- ➤ Illinois health officials confirmed the state's first measles case on Feb. 8 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Collinsville and are notifying church attendees (8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.) with guidance on taking precautions. St. Louis Post-Dispatch
- ➤ Illinois health officials confirmed a second measles case in the Metro East region yesterday at businesses in Edwardsville, Collinsville and Glen Carbon. They warn anyone who may have been exposed to monitor symptoms for 21 days and seek medical care if symptoms develop. KSDK
