During the season of Advent, we wait and prepare for the birth of Emmanuel – God with us – and look forward with hope to the day when Christ finally returns. Yet between the past and the future, we live in the here and now of this world. Are you ready to consider what it might mean for you to take to heart
Meister Eckhart’s challenge: We are all meant to be mothers of God, for God is always needing to be born? Through lectio divina, music, silence, personal
reflection and sharing, we will allow God to speak to us through the words of Meister Eckhart. Please bring your journal. Lunch is included.
The day will be facilitated by Dawn Stringfield who has been a contemplative most of her adult life, practicing forms of centering prayer and meditation for over 30 years. Register by noon on December 1 at www.mercycenterstl.org
