About this event

Saxophonist, composer, and educator Kendrick Smith draws inspiration from the rich musical heritage of East St. Louis while carving out a distinct creative voice of his own. Smith returns for a magical night of nostalgic tunes, alongside talented vocalist Michaele Postell. This performance takes beloved songs from the silver screen and reimagines them through the soulful sounds of jazz. Enjoy an elevated evening of familiar melodies through Postell’s swinging rhythms and Smith’s playful improvisation.
