While these events are free, reservations are recommended. https://10379a.blackbaudhosting.com/10379a/Saturday-Speaker-Series-Discover-St-Louis-Through-Its-Sacred-Places

These meetups will be a little different - there may or may not be a meetup host at these events, so this is more a way to let people in this group know these history talks are taking place. You may or may not see anyone else from the meetup group there if you choose to go.

Saturday Speaker Series:

Discover St. Louis Through its Sacred Places

"Vandeventer Place is remembered as one of St. Louis’s most exclusive neighborhoods during the Gilded Age. Join Judge Tom Grady and architectural designer and preservationist Michael Boyd for a detailed discussion on the history of this exclusive post–Civil War enclave, detailing the 50 grand homes that once stood there and the influential families who built them. The discussion will be based on their book Vandeventer Place: Gilded Age St. Louis , a social, economic, architectural and urban history of the legendary neighborhood." from https://mohistory.org/events/saturday-speaker-12-05-2026
