About this event

The Lincoln Theatre in Belleville is hosting some of the St. Louis International Film Festival movies; I've picked "Bob's Best Friends" as the one I want to see at this venue. The movie starts at 1pm; I will be in the lobby to greet everyone until a few minutes before.

Movie description from the SLIFF website:

A lonely man discovers he has an ability to talk to dogs after a sudden illness strikes. Through a series of adventures, mishaps and conversations with his new “friends”, Bob rediscovers life’s joys. It’s a story of love, loss and renewal. A drama/comedy for all ages.

The Lincoln is a historical movie theatre in Belleville, IL that started out as a community playhouse. It's open seating, and they pride themselves on offering affordable concessions. This is only the second year they've participated in SLIFF, but last year the city really promoted the festival and went out of their way to welcome attendees. There are plenty of FREE parking spots behind the theater, in city-owned lots.
