About this event

Hi all, For our group project, we will be making items to give to the Greater St. Louis Knitters Guild ( https://www.gslkg.com/ ). The Knitter's Guild takes handmade crochet and knit items, and distributes them to a variety of local charities. They are able to take many types of items so everyone who wants to participate can find something to make over the next couple months. This meetup will be to collect the group's donations so they can be taken to the December Knitters Guild meeting.

Here are the types of items that they take: Hats - all sizes, baby to adult Chemo hats Scarfs, shawls, cowls Socks, slippers Mittens, fingerless mitts Baby clothing - hats, sweaters, booties, sleepers, etc. Baby blankets Warm up America 7"x9" rectangles Blankets Toys

I'll schedule another meetup to talk about pattern ideas.

If you would like to contribute to this donation effort but cannot make this event, please reach out to me closer to this date and we'll arrange a pickup.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's creations!
